Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focussed individual to join the Hospitality Team at Curve, Leicester’s state of the art theatre situated in the heart of the City’s Cultural Quarter. With a friendly and professional approach, whilst on shift you will supervise the day-to-day operation of the Café, Bar and Events provisions.

This role has responsibility to achieve the highest levels of service consistently for customers and clients.

Supervising our Hospitality team, you will encourage an effective operation and maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. You will also be responsible for ensuring Curve fully complies with Health & Safety and Licensing regulations, whilst also maximising income and profit. Being a key member of the Hospitality team, you will assist in the organising, the catering for, and running of, meetings, events and receptions as well as providing in-house catering as required.

You must have relevant Hospitality experience and an ability to work in a physically demanding role and work quickly under pressure whilst remaining calm and professional. Due to the nature of the position, you will be expected to work on a rota basis to include evenings and weekends.

The role requires you to be available to work during the weekdays as well as evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays when performances or events are taking place.
