Claybody Theatre is looking for an organised and proactive Theatre Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our busy and growing organisation. As an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, we create bold, accessible theatre rooted in the stories of Stoke-on-Trent. This is a varied role working closely with our General Manager across box office, finance and general administration, while supporting our volunteers, artists and audiences.

What you’ll do

  • Set up performances and events on TicketSource.
  • Respond to box office enquiries, ticket exchanges and customer requests.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters and other routine correspondence.
  • Request invoices and support supplier payments and basic payroll administration.
  • Send box office settlements to visiting companies.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Front of House volunteers to support performances and events.
  • Maintain equal opportunities monitoring information.
  • Provide general administrative support across the organisation.

About you

You’ll be:

  • Organised, reliable and able to manage your own workload.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and online systems.
  • Experienced in administration, with some finance administration experience.
  • A clear communicator with excellent attention to detail.
  • Friendly and happy working with colleagues, volunteers and visiting companies.
  • Experience in theatre, the arts or charity sector, and knowledge of TicketSource or similar booking systems, would be an advantage.
