Congratulations to UK Theatre member productions on their 2025 Olivier Awards nominations

With the Olivier Awards taking place this weekend on Sunday 6 April, UK Theatre is delighted to see so many of its members work being recognised with nominations. 

In the Best New Production in Affiliate Theatre category, productions nominated at UK Theatre venues are: 

  • Animal Farm by George Orwell, adapted by Tatty Hennessy at Theatre Royal Stratford East 
  • Boys On The Verge Of Tears by Sam Grabiner at Soho Theatre   
  • English by Sanaz Toossi at Kiln Theatre   
  • Now, I See by Lanre Malaolu at Theatre Royal Stratford East   
  • What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank by Nathan Englander at Marylebone Theatre  

Further to this, productions that were originated in or co-produced by UK Theatre venue members have been nominated across the board. UK Theatre members who co-produced or originated a nominated show include Royal Shakespeare Company (“RSC”), Leeds Playhouse, Nottingham Playhouse, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Theatre Royal Bath, Chichester Festival Theatre, Bush Theatre and more.  

Congratulations as well to our Commercial Producer members recognised with nominations, including Ameena Hamid Productions, Chuchu Nwagu Productions and Kenny Wax Ltd
