Company Manager

Summary

We are looking for applicants with demonstrable professional experience working as a Company Stage Manager. The role requires someone who has exceptional people skills, strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to lead and manage a team, a positive, flexible and proactive attitude, and a strong aptitude for pastoral care.

More Details

Essential Skills
• 10+ years of industry experience with experience of company management on a long-running production;
• Knowledge and experience of the working practices of a West End musical;
• Ability to work both as part of a team and in a leadership role;
• Exceptional people-management, inter-personal and communication skills (both verbal and written), with excellent attention to detail;
• Experience in addressing and resolving pastoral issues that may arise in a working environment;
• Experience of working with creative teams and the ability to manage expectations;
• Discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information;
• A proactive and energetic attitude with the ability to work calmly under pressure and effectively prioritize;
• Experience of working in a highly pressured environment;
• Proficient use of MS Office 365;
• Working knowledge of SOLT Equity, BECTU and MU union agreements;
• Awareness of current Health & Safety legislation.

Desirable Skills
• Mental Health First Aid trained;
• First Aid trained;
• Previous Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Training.
