Company Stage Manager

The Production Department is responsible for creating, delivering and running world-class theatre at Kiln Theatre, working in collaboration with a wide and varied range of directors, creative teams and co-producing partners. The Company Stage Manager (the CSM) will work closely with the Head of Production and Producer to play a central part in the day-to-day running of the Productions, providing effective communication between teams and maintaining the delivery of high-quality productions. The CSM will ensure the most effective use of resources; develop and maintain processes for clear communication; and recruit and manage freelance staffing in order to support the realisation of productions at Kiln (and other venues if required). In collaboration with Kiln Production and Producing teams the CSM will ensure the pastoral welfare of Kiln companies and production teams and a welcome and inclusive working culture.
