We are looking for a skilled craftsperson with experience within a mostly timber based workshop and with a wide knowledge of joinery techniques and construction. Whilst previous experience in a similar role in a theatre is not essential, a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a small team and to take a proactive role in problem solving are.
This a one-year, fixed term contract based in Scarborough although we very much hope that we will be able to extend it into a permanent role, should this initial period prove successful.
We are committed to a policy of inclusivity and diversity and welcome applications from those underrepresented in the cultural sector. We will work with candidates to ensure their access needs are met during the recruitment process and will ensure that access requirements are not a factor in our decision making.
