Open Call- Lighting Designer

We are seeking a Lighting Designer to join our creative team on a Freelance basis for our upcoming production: Peter Pan – A BIG Musical Adventure We are seeking a collaborative and bold Lighting Designer who can deliver interesting, exciting and dynamic designs for our next production.

The role requires an excellent communicator with a proactive approach and at least 2 years of experience working in the professional theatre industry, with the following essential criteria.

• Proven ability to create, communicate, and realise lighting design concepts.
• Experience designing lighting for large companies and/or young people.
• Collaborative by nature with a willingness to adapt designs to fit the needs of the creative team and/or venue.
• Experience working with large creative and production teams.
• Ability to manage production budgets and work within financial constraints.
• Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to programme an ETC EOS lighting desk prefered.
• A commitment to sustainable and ethical practices.
• Demonstrable experience with relevant CAD software.
