Do you have excellent customer service skills and a calm, welcoming manner? Are you someone who enjoys helping others and being at the heart of a busy, vibrant environment? Would you love to work in a role that helps you feel part of everything happening at Sheffield Theatres?
In this role, you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of our venues, helping to ensure everyone who visits or works with us has a great experience. You’ll be one of the first friendly faces that everyone arriving at our Stage Door meets, including colleagues, visiting companies and contractors. You’ll provide a switchboard service, help keep our buildings secure, and take on key‑holder responsibilities.
You’ll contribute to the smooth running of our spaces, from setting up rooms and events to carrying out safety checks and operating systems such as CCTV and fire alarms. You’ll also act as an appointed person in emergencies, including managing evacuations and carrying out first aid and fire safety responsibilities.
No two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a committed and collaborative team working across all of our venues.

Key Information
Hours: 39 hours per week (annualised hours)
Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday
Salary: £13.43 per hour (£27,310 per year)
Contract: Annualised Hours, Permanent, Full Time
