Overview of Role:
Disney Theatrical Group is seeking a Production Video Intern for the upcoming Bristol production of Disney’s The Greatest Showman. Are you curious about technology, video design or video programming? This is an exciting opportunity for aBristol-based individual interested in developing a career in backstage theatre.
The Video Department consists of three Production Video Engineers, and this internship provides hands-on experience working alongside them from the first day of fit-up through to opening night. Tasks include rigging projectors and LED, running in all the system infrastructure and supporting the design team and programmers through technical rehearsals and previews. Previous video experience is not essential.

- Theatre Skills (Desirable): Basic knowledge of theatre craft preferred, including theatre terminology, safety procedures, working at height, carrying ladders, and safe running of cables etc. Training can be provided.
Additional Information
- Prep Week: Early – Mid December 2025
- Start Date: Early January2026
- End Date: Mid April 2026
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Tuesday to Sunday (evening and weekend show schedule)
- Health & Safety: This role will require the candidate to understand and follow the Health and Safety Rules & Regulations at the production.
