This role is for those who are in the early stages of their career, having recently graduated, completed an apprenticeship or have a similar level of work experience, and are looking to develop their skills in the field of theatre rigging and flying. Applicants should have a reasonable level of technical ability as they will be expected to work alongside the in-house teams on a day-to-day basis, producing and running shows to a high professional standard.
The successful candidates will have the following:
- Some technical experience in a professional theatre environment
- Basic stagecraft skills, good spatial awareness and comfortable with working at height
- An awareness of lifting equipment and key theatre rigging and flying techniques
- An understanding of working safely and the risk assessment process
- Good written and verbal communication skills
