The Purpose of this role is:
To ensure the smooth running of events at the Cambridge Corn Exchange and Guild Halls as
part of the Technical Team.
In this role you will:
• Be an active part of the technical team, working with other members of the team to
ensure that the day to day technical operation of the venues is delivered effectively,
taking a lead role in the planning and delivery of individual events, activities, and
projects as allocated, and contributing to the longer term planning for the venues.
• 2. Ensure that planning for all allocated events, activities and projects is carried out
effectively and efficiently, liaising as necessary with members of other teams, including
but not limited to operations, programming, box office, and finance.
• 3. Take responsibility for all the technical requirements for the allocated venue(s)
during the delivery of events, acting as Duty Technician and Stage Manager and
ensuring that the venue operates safely and effectively, in line with all relevant policies
and legislation, including licensing, health and safety, and safe-guarding.
