Role Responsibilities:
- Covering Stage Management, Sound No. 2, and Lighting (LX) tracks for the production, and working alongside stage management, company management, and the technical teams to support pre-sets, maintenance, and show operation for all performances.
- Assisting with the installation and load-out of the show and the loading of the truck as instructed by the Technical Stage Manager.
- Communicating clearly and collaborating with other departments at all times to ensure the smooth running of the production.
- Reporting any technical issues through show reports or in writing to the relevant individuals as required.
- Maintaining all relevant paperwork in an accurate and up-to-date manner, and generating new paperwork when changes are made.
- Learning and maintaining knowledge of various technical plots across multiple departments to cover absences or illness.
- Assisting with pre-show checks, pre-sets, rehearsals (including technical, dress, and understudy rehearsals), and participating in daily duties and rotating schedules as required to ensure the smooth running of all performances.
- Assisting with maintenance of technical equipment and set/stage elements as directed.
- Developing knowledge of, and working with, show-specific equipment as required.
- Attend production planning meetings, move meetings, and any other meetings as required, contributing as necessary to ensure that each move, load-in, performance, and load-out runs smoothly.
- Complying at all times with the Producer’s Health & Safety policies and other company policies.
- Conducting yourself in a professional, cooperative, and courteous manner at all times to facilitate effective collaboration across all departments.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required in the course of your duties or as instructed by the Producers from time to time.
Skills & Characteristics:

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with other crew members to deliver a first-class touring production.

Able to work calmly and maintain focus under pressure in a live performance environment

Practical experience across stage management, lighting, and sound departments

Proficient with ETC lighting desks and both intelligent and generic lighting fixtures

Knowledge of radio microphone systems, including headset fittings and operation

Solid understanding of industry practices and standards
-
Knowledgeable about relevant health and safety legislation, and able to work safely with electrical equipment
