(Activities to include/relate to: Film, Theatre, Dance, Music, Exhibitions, Art). We are seeking a creative, community‑minded professional to help strengthen local opportunities for young people through the arts.

We’re looking for a dynamic, creative, and community-minded Theatre Arts Youth Activity Outreach Worker to inspire young people through the power of performance. This role blends artistic leadership, youth engagement, and community outreach to ensure that theatre is accessible, inclusive, and exciting for young people from all backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver theatre-based activities for secondary age young people, including drama, movement, improvisation, and creative storytelling.
Build strong relationships with schools, youth groups, community organisations, and families to expand participation and awareness of theatre programmes.
Identify and engage underrepresented or hard-to-reach youth, ensuring activities are inclusive, culturally responsive, and accessible.
Support young people’s personal and social development through confidence-building, teamwork, communication, and creative expression.
Plan, coordinate, and lead outreach events, taster sessions, and community performances.
Collaborate with artistic and education teams to develop new programmes, projects, and performance opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate programme impact, gathering feedback and maintaining accurate records for reporting and funding purposes.
Safeguard the wellbeing of all participants, following organisational policies and best practice in youth work.
Support or lead new funding initiatives for the outreach programme, writing/supporting applications with persuasive evidential based argument.
To work as part of the Skye Bridge Studios team promoting and developing Arts programmes locally supporting all activities of the organisation in a positive way.
