More Details

Theatre Projects is a world-leading theatre design consultancy with a global team of more than 60 experts in theatre design, planning, technology, operations, and acoustics. We work with architects and builders to design and deliver performing arts venues all over the world. Since our start in 1957, we’ve worked on more than 1,600 projects in 80 countries, including some of the world’s most iconic spaces like the National Theatre and The Lowry in the UK, Dubai Opera, Walt Disney Concert Hall, LA, The Esplanade, Singapore and Shanghai Grand Opera House. Our successful theatre systems team designs audio visual, production lighting and sound and communication systems for venues, as well as advising on the general electrical systems for stage machinery.

We are seeking a systems consultant with a production lighting bias to join our team. The role is based in our London office but with flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days a week. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a background in technical theatre and experience of technical systems design in performing arts venues, committed to the long-term development of their skills, and with a strong commitment to collaborative working. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and be comfortable working with people at all levels. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills will be required to work within multiple teams, across varying submissions with concurrent deadlines. Our work is both domestic and worldwide therefore this position may require international travel.

Theatre Projects is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applicants from a range of career stages, including recent graduates.
