Visitor Operations Assistant

Summary

The role: To provide a world class experience and customer service visitors to the Globe site and work together as a team to facilitate all visitor activity onsite. This role is offered on a full time basis. Due to the nature of the role it must be worked onsite on London’s Bankside and will include regular evening and weekend working. The skills: The ideal candidate would have a genuine desire to provide excellent visitor care in a warm, friendly and professional manner, able to work as part of a large team and be a supportive team member within the wider organisation, and work collaboratively and considerately with other departments. They will be able to use their initiative to demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to change, even at short notice and will be able to retain and share excellent knowledge of products, practices, and objects in the exhibition space, whilst also able to influence customers with strong selling skills. The right person for the role will have an excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills and be enthusiastic and willing to learn. The team: The Visitor and Audience Operations department is made up of a large operational team encompassing the management and delivery of the tours, also supporting the Retail function and wider Globe activities. The team collaborate closely with other departments to bring the highest standards of audience experience in the delivery of all the Globe’s work.
