SOLT & UK Theatre Co-CEOs Claire Walker and Hannah Essex said:

“We are delighted to join the Creative Industries Council as representatives of the UK’s world-leading theatre sector. At a pivotal moment for the creative industries, it is essential that theatre’s role in creating skilled jobs, sustaining local economies, and delivering world-class work is clearly understood and effectively championed.

“We look forward to working with Ministers and industry colleagues to help deliver the Creative Industries Sector Plan and to ensure that theatre’s contribution to skills, place, and economic growth is championed and supported across all parts of the UK.”
