On Tuesday 24 June 2025 we brought theatre professionals together to discuss pressing topics and to explore solutions that will shape and sustain the sector.

Keynote speakerJack Thorne

Playwright and screenwriter Jack Thorne, creator of Netflix’s Adolescence, delivered a passionate and hard-hitting keynote speech, urging political leaders to recognise the scale of challenge facing the British theatre sector and to act before it’s too late.

After the keynote speech followed a full day of sessions, covering topics such as technical skills gaps, presenting new work, using AI to enhance business performance and more.

There were networking opportunities throughout the day to complement the panels and presentations, allowing members to continue the session conversations and collaborate to find solutions and delegates could visit The Marketplace, which was open all day to meet the companies offering tools and technology to innovate the work that members do.
