The Casting Associate supports the Head of Casting in the casting of all productions for the Globe theatre, the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and on tour, as well as casting for R&D workshops, special events and one-off projects, in line with our casting principles.
The role will also work closely with the Producing team, freelance Directors and Casting Directors, and will be part of the Theatre team.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of casting, ideally in theatre. They will have a hands-on approach, with meticulous attention to detail and will ensure the Casting team are supported with an excellent understanding of the management and maintenance of accurate administrative systems and processes. Good knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, Shakespeare’s works are important in this varied and challenging role.
