Assistant Stage Manager (Cover)
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time experienced, Technical Assistant Stage Manager to work on the London production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW.
Written by Kate Trefry, an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, directed by Stephen Daldry, co-directed by Justin Martin for the Phoenix Theatre and produced by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions – running in the West End since November 2023.
Previous experience as a Technical Assistant Stage Manager on a busy show is essential. Skills required include attention to detail, the ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy live production environment and good all-round technical skills.
Your duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a Technical Assistant Stage Manager on a first-class West End production and include (but will not be limited to) maintaining the prompt book, calling the show, teaching the book and any changes to Book Covers, cueing sound and automation and holding the Stage Manager role when the Stage Manager is unavailable.

Job Location: West End London
Contract Type: Fixed term for one year and then rolling.
Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/Equity Agreement.
Weekly Hours: 8 shows per week.
