Technician

You will provide technical support and crewing during get-ins, fit-ups and get-outs, as required by the Technical Stage Manager and other Senior Storyhouse technical staff.   You will operate and program lighting on ETC EOS range of consoles, operate a Yamaha digital sound desk and act as a sound and lighting assistant as required.

• Operate sound and lighting for shows and events, including the use of radio mics, Qlab playback, lighting cue recording and playback.
• Program and operate lighting for in-house shows, as well as operate lighting for touring main stage and Garret shows on ETC EOS consoles.
• Load and unload set and equipment from trucks; set-up, build and move scenery; perform cues on stage; operate counterweight flying systems; operate follow spots as required during rehearsals and performances under the direction of visiting company staff or senior Storyhouse technical staff.
• Attend occasional staff meetings, personal development and training sessions.
• Work at one of our other sites, providing technical assistance at Moonlight Flicks and/or Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre.
• Operate broadcast/PTZ camera for various streaming projects.
• Program and operate lighting desks (ETC EOS series) and sound desks (Yamaha Digital) as required.
• Carry out any other duties in all areas of the building as may be required by the Technical Stage Manager.
