The Royal Opera Chorus is the backbone of The Royal Opera and, under the leadership of Chorus Director William Spaulding and his deputy Genevieve Ellis, performs in an average of 20 productions each season in a wide repertory ranging from Baroque through to newly commissioned works.
We are currently recruiting for three permanent, full-time contracts for the Royal Opera Chorus.
We are seeking applications from suitably experienced singers for the following voice type:
- 1st Soprano (1 position)
- 1st Tenor (1 position)
- 2nd Bass (1 position)

Auditions will be split into two rounds. Unsighted, first round Auditions will be held between 14th – 16th April 2025.
Successful candidates will then be invited to a second round of auditions between 6th May – 9th June 2025.
