Opera North is England’s national opera company in the north and a leading European arts organisation. Based in Leeds, the company is committed to producing work of the highest quality that excites, challenges and entertains. We tour throughout the north of England, and also nationally and internationally. Acclaimed for its imaginative programming and innovative productions on the main stage, Opera North also programmes its own venue, the Howard Assembly Room with an enormous diversity of activity.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in large-scale production management, strong technical theatre knowledge, and excellent stakeholder and team management skills. They should be proficient in IT (including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Vectorworks), capable of handling production budgets, trained in health and safety, and able to travel frequently across the UK. Strong communication, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving abilities are essential.
Salary: £ 33,000 per annum pro rata, Fixed Term (10 months from August)
