We are recruiting a Senior Production Technician to provide technical and production support for the Marlowe Theatre Main House and Studio programmes. Additionally contributing to special events, learning and participation and artist development work.
The Marlowe Theatre’s technical team is renown on the touring circuit for its professionalism, efficiency, and best practice. And as the Marlowe Theatre steps into its own produced work and touring, the Senior Production Technician will play a role in delivering on those aims.
As Senior Production Technician you will report to one of the three Heads of Department but work as a multiskilled Technician across all our performance’s spaces.
Our Senior Production Technician should have good knowledge of the theatre industry, theatre production with up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety practice as well good interpersonal skills and good experience with a range technical equipment.
We are looking for a collaborative, proactive creative problem solver with a friendly and customer focused approach. The role of Senior production Technician is a multiskilled position and we will welcome those from all technical streams, we are particularly keen to hear from people with some experience of or a willingness to develop experience in stage and counterweight flying.
