Sound 3 – SIX UK & International Tour

The hugely successful, long-running UK and International Tour of smash-hit musical SIX is looking for a Sound 3 to join the team on a full time, one year contract from March 2025 – March 2026.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Sound No.1 and 2 to support the department by primarily being responsible for digital wireless systems, including fitting and maintaining custom in-ear monitors. They will learn the show mix and perform this duty for certain performances each week, as well as working alongside a team of production engineers to move the show weekly from venue to venue including international venues.

The Sound No. 3 will also attend rehearsals, show calls, maintenance calls and work closely with the sound department and Company Stage Manager to maintain the production as instructed by the creative team.

SIX the Musical has sound design by Paul Gatehouse. It tours a Digico SD10T, comprehensive D&B audiotechnik system with a Sony radio microphone system and Shure in-ear monitors.

Candidates must be prepared to undertake physically demanding tasks, be confident working with technology especially digital radio microphones and in-ear monitoring systems. They should also be very comfortable working with and fitting up onstage music technology and consider themselves as enthusiastic, collaborative with good problem-solving skills.

Desirable experience includes: previous No 1 UK Touring work, previous musical mix experience, international experience.

Please note this is a full time, exclusive role, one-year contract and features international travel in Asia and Europe – other territories to be confirmed.

Salary: £795 per week plus touring allowance or applicable per diem payment when abroad
