Sound No. 2
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for an experienced, Sound no. 2 on the West End production of STEREOPHONIC, written by David Adjmi, directed by Daniel Aukin, with original songs by Will Butler and sound design by Ryan Rumery.
We are seeking applications from individuals from all backgrounds with complementary experience and skills, for the position of a Sound no. 2. Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to support and deputise for the Head of Sound. Candidates should be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure as well as having strong organisational and time management qualities to ensure that the production runs efficiently and smoothly, and the sound design is maintained.
Responsibilities include the preparation, rigging, maintenance and operation of the sound design. Ideal candidates would have experience in running radio mics and the operation of QLab.
Experience working on a West End production in a similar role is essential.

Job Location: The Duke of York’s Theatre, West End London
Contract Type: Fixed term until November 2025
Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks (Monday to Saturday); 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
