About the role

The Theatre House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the theatre front of house areas, ensuring a seamless experience for both performers and audiences. This role involves managing front of house staff, bar management, coordinating with production teams, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

This is an on-campus role, it is not suitable for regular remote working. Working hours will include evenings, weekends, bank holidays and college closure periods.

About you

We are looking for candidates who in particular have the following experience and skills:

  • The ability to lead and manage a team effectively, ensuring smooth operations and the highest standards of customer service.
  • Exceptional organisational and communications skills to handle multiple tasks, manage schedules, and ensure all aspects of theatre front-of-house operations run smoothly.
  • Prior experience in managing theatre front-of-house and bar sales operations.
  • Ability to accurately process income and manage budgets.
