The role:
The Theatre Technician will work closely with the Senior Technician and wider Stage Team to deliver the technical requirements of our productions, events and operations. They will act as a Duty Technician for performances, ensuring technical elements are prepared to ensure the smooth running of shows and, together with the Senior Technician, they will ensure maintenance, housekeeping and turnarounds take place on a daily basis.
The skills:
We’re looking for someone with a solid understanding and experience of technical elements of theatre with a focus of lighting and communication systems. The person in post will have have strong organisational, problem solving and administrative skills with good attention to detail. They will have a good understanding of risk assessments and relevant H&S regulations. The Theatre Technician will have a willingness to take on training and gain experience in the industry and have a reliable and proactive approach to the work.
