ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Wigs, Hair and Wardrobe Assistant to join the production on its UK Tour.
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Length: 18 Months
Salary: Buyout/Competitive
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Repair and maintenance of all wigs during rehearsals and the performance run.
- Any dressing responsibilities during performances.
- Supporting quick changes and organisation backstage.
- Participating in the wig get in and get out.
- Ensure that the hair, wig and make up requirements are maintained to the standards of the production.
- Working with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the production. Comply with the Manager’s Health and Safety and other policies at all times.
- Report to the Costume Supervisor, Company Manager and General Manager on the department.
- Assist the department with load-in and load-out duties.
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous experience on a large-scale production is essential
- Experience with styling and dressing wigs and hair for live performance/theatre
- The ability to work as part of a large team
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- Experience barbering would be a bonus but is not essential
